Galaxy Tab 8.9 LTE has a global score of 58.8, which is much better than Galaxy Tab 4G LTE's 53.3 general score. Galaxy Tab 8.9 LTE's construction is heavier but thinner than Galaxy Tab 4G LTE, and they were only released with a couple months difference. These devices use Android OS, but Galaxy Tab 8.9 LTE has newer 4.0 version while Galaxy Tab 4G LTE has Android 2.2.
The Galaxy Tab 8.9 LTE counts with a little faster processor than Galaxy Tab 4G LTE, because although it has doesn't have an extra graphics processing unit, it also counts with 1 more processing cores. The Galaxy Tab 8.9 LTE has a bit sharper display than Galaxy Tab 4G LTE, and although they both have the same screen pixels density, the Galaxy Tab 8.9 LTE also has a bigger display and a better 800 x 1280 pixels resolution.
The Galaxy Tab 4G LTE features a better camera than Galaxy Tab 8.9 LTE, and although they both have the same video definition and the same video frame rates, the Galaxy Tab 4G LTE also has a way higher 5 mega-pixels resolution camera. The Samsung Galaxy Tab 8.9 LTE has much more memory capacity for apps and games than Galaxy Tab 4G LTE, because although it has no slot for an SD memory card, it also counts with 16 GB internal memory.
The Galaxy Tab 8.9 LTE has a very superior battery life than Galaxy Tab 4G LTE, because it has a 53 percent more battery size.
