Comparison review
The Galaxy Tab 7.0 Plus is a bit better than the Amazon Fire HD 8 (2020), having a 60.8 score against 58.6. Despite of the fact the Galaxy Tab 7.0 Plus is incredibly older and just a bit thicker than Amazon Fire HD 8 (2020), it's design is still just a little lighter. Both devices we are comparing have Android OS, but the Galaxy Tab 7.0 Plus has older 4.1.2 version while Amazon Fire HD 8 (2020) has Android 9.0 Pie.
The Samsung Galaxy Tab 7.0 Plus features a slightly better looking display than Amazon Fire HD 8 (2020), although it has a little smaller display, a quite lower quantity of pixels per inch in the display and a way worse 600 x 1024 resolution. Amazon Fire HD 8 (2020) counts with a faster processor than Galaxy Tab 7.0 Plus, because it has 2 more cpu cores and 1 GB more RAM.
The Samsung Galaxy Tab 7.0 Plus shoots a bit better photos and videos than Amazon Fire HD 8 (2020), and although they both have the same 1280x720 video definition and the same video frame rate, the Samsung Galaxy Tab 7.0 Plus also has a camera in the back with a lot higher 3 MP resolution. Amazon Fire HD 8 (2020) has a superior storage capacity for games and applications than Galaxy Tab 7.0 Plus, and although they both have the same internal storage, the Amazon Fire HD 8 (2020) also has a SD card slot that allows up to 1000 GB.
The Galaxy Tab 7.0 Plus has a much better battery duration than Amazon Fire HD 8 (2020).
Although Samsung Galaxy Tab 7.0 Plus is a better device, it costs a lot more money than Amazon Fire HD 8 (2020), and it doesn't have such a good price and quality relation as Amazon Fire HD 8 (2020). If you are trying to save some dollars, you can buy Amazon Fire HD 8 (2020), giving up a few specs and features, but you'll get the most with your budget.
