Comparison review

The Samsung Galaxy Tab 7.0 Plus is slightly better than Samsung Galaxy Tab 10.1, getting a 60.8 score against 58.1. Both of these tablets come with Android OS (Operating System), but Samsung Galaxy Tab 7.0 Plus has newer 4.1.2 version and Samsung Galaxy Tab 10.1 has Android 4.0.4 version, providing lots of additional features. Samsung Galaxy Tab 7.0 Plus's body is a lot lighter but thicker than the Samsung Galaxy Tab 10.1, and they were released with only 6 months difference.

Galaxy Tab 10.1 features a bit sharper screen than Galaxy Tab 7.0 Plus, because although it has a little bit worse amount of pixels per screen inch, it also counts with a better resolution of 800 x 1280px and a really bigger screen. Samsung Galaxy Tab 7.0 Plus has a little bit better processing power than Galaxy Tab 10.1. They have the same number of cores.

Samsung Galaxy Tab 7.0 Plus has a much bigger memory capacity for applications, games, photos and videos than Samsung Galaxy Tab 10.1, and although they both have exactly the same internal storage, the Samsung Galaxy Tab 7.0 Plus also has a SD memory card expansion slot that allows up to 64 GB. The Galaxy Tab 10.1 takes much clearer photographs and videos than Samsung Galaxy Tab 7.0 Plus, and although they both have the same resolution back-facing camera, the Galaxy Tab 10.1 also has a way higher video resolution.

Samsung Galaxy Tab 10.1 features a very superior battery duration than Galaxy Tab 7.0 Plus, because it has 6800mAh of battery capacity against 4000mAh.

Although Galaxy Tab 7.0 Plus is a better device, it is more expensive than the Samsung Galaxy Tab 10.1, and it doesn't have such a good relation between it's price and quality as Samsung Galaxy Tab 10.1. If you are trying to save a few dollars, you can get the Samsung Galaxy Tab 10.1, letting go a few features and specs, but you will get the most out of your budget.
