Samsung Galaxy Tab 7.0 Plus is just a bit better than the Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 (7.0), getting a overall score of 60.8 against 60.7. Samsung Galaxy Tab 7.0 Plus's construction is a little thinner but just a little heavier than the Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 (7.0), and they were only released with a couple months difference. Both devices we are comparing here include Android operating system, but the Samsung Galaxy Tab 7.0 Plus has the newer 4.1.2 version and Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 (7.0) has Android 4.1.

The Galaxy Tab 2 (7.0) features a little more vivid screen than Samsung Galaxy Tab 7.0 Plus. The Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 (7.0) features a much better camera than Galaxy Tab 7.0 Plus. Both of them have the same video quality, the same video frame rates and a camera in the back with a 3 mega pixels resolution. The Galaxy Tab 7.0 Plus and the Galaxy Tab 2 (7.0) count with extremely similar battery durations.

Although Samsung Galaxy Tab 7.0 Plus is a better device, it is a lot more expensive than Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 (7.0), and it doesn't have such a good quality/price relation as the Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 (7.0). So if you need that extra features and specs, you can buy Samsung Galaxy Tab 7.0 Plus, else you can save some dollars and get the Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 (7.0), giving up a couple specifications.
