Galaxy Tab 7.0 Plus has a global score of 60.8, which is a bit better than the Galaxy Tab A (2016)'s 60.4 global score. Both tablets in our current comparison come with Android OS (Operating System), but Galaxy Tab 7.0 Plus has an older 4.1.2 version while Galaxy Tab A (2016) has Android 5.1 Lollipop. Galaxy Tab 7.0 Plus's body is way older, thicker and heavier than the Galaxy Tab A (2016).

The Samsung Galaxy Tab A (2016) and Galaxy Tab 7.0 Plus count with really similar displays, and although the Samsung Galaxy Tab A (2016) has a better resolution of 800 x 1280px and more pixels per inch of display, they both have a same size display. The Galaxy Tab 7.0 Plus has a lot bigger storage for games and applications than Galaxy Tab A (2016), because although it has a slot for an SD memory card that allows 136 GB smaller, it also counts with more internal memory.

The Galaxy Tab A (2016) counts with a bit more powerful processing unit than Galaxy Tab 7.0 Plus, because it has more CPU cores and a greater amount of RAM memory. Galaxy Tab A (2016) features a superior camera than Galaxy Tab 7.0 Plus, and although they both have the same (HD) video resolution and the same video frame rate, the Galaxy Tab A (2016) also has a back facing camera with a lot higher 5 megapixels resolution.

Although Samsung Galaxy Tab 7.0 Plus is a better device, it is a lot more expensive than Galaxy Tab A (2016), and it doesn't have such a good price and quality relation as Galaxy Tab A (2016). So if you need that extra specs, you can buy the Samsung Galaxy Tab 7.0 Plus, otherwise you can save some dollars and buy the Galaxy Tab A (2016), letting go some specs and features.
