Galaxy Tab Active has a general score of 67, which is better than Samsung Galaxy Tab 7.0 Plus's 60.8 global score. Although Galaxy Tab Active is heavier than the Samsung Galaxy Tab 7.0 Plus, it's just a little bit thinner and a lot newer. These tablets work with Android OS, but the Galaxy Tab Active has the newer 4.4 version and Samsung Galaxy Tab 7.0 Plus has Android 4.1.2, giving some nice extra features and some performance improvements.
The Galaxy Tab Active has a brighter screen than Samsung Galaxy Tab 7.0 Plus, because it has a higher resolution of 1280 x 800, a just a bit higher pixel number per inch in the display and a quite larger screen. Galaxy Tab 7.0 Plus counts with much more memory capacity for games and applications than Samsung Galaxy Tab Active, and although they both have a SD extension slot that supports a maximum of 64 GB, the Galaxy Tab 7.0 Plus also has more internal memory.
Galaxy Tab Active has a little better processing power than Galaxy Tab 7.0 Plus, because it has a larger number of cores, a larger amount of RAM and an extra graphics processing unit. Galaxy Tab Active captures better pictures and videos than Samsung Galaxy Tab 7.0 Plus, and although they both have the same 1280x720 (HD) video definition and the same video frame rates, the Galaxy Tab Active also has a back camera with a higher resolution.
Samsung Galaxy Tab Active features just a little bit longer battery performance than Galaxy Tab 7.0 Plus, because it has an 11 percent larger battery size.
In addition to being the best tablet in our comparison, the Samsung Galaxy Tab Active is also a bit cheaper.
