The Galaxy Tab E 8.0 has a global score of 64.9, which is just a bit better than Samsung Galaxy Tab 7.0 Plus's 60.8 global score. Galaxy Tab E 8.0 is a way newer and thinner device than Samsung Galaxy Tab 7.0 Plus, although it is also a bit heavier. Both devices in our current comparison work with Android OS, but Galaxy Tab E 8.0 has the newer 5.1 Lollipop version and Samsung Galaxy Tab 7.0 Plus has Android 4.1.2 version.

The Galaxy Tab E 8.0 has just a little better processing power than Samsung Galaxy Tab 7.0 Plus, because it has a greater amount of RAM memory and 2 more 1200 megahertz CPU cores. Galaxy Tab 7.0 Plus counts with a little more vivid screen than Galaxy Tab E 8.0, although it has a lot worse resolution of 600 x 1024px, a little bit inferior pixel count per display inch and a quite smaller screen.

The Galaxy Tab 7.0 Plus has more memory to install applications and games or saving photos and videos than Samsung Galaxy Tab E 8.0, because although it has an external memory card slot that supports up to 64 GB against 128 GB, it also counts with more internal storage capacity. Galaxy Tab E 8.0 has better battery performance than Galaxy Tab 7.0 Plus, because it has a 5000mAh battery capacity.

The Galaxy Tab E 8.0 features a much better camera than Galaxy Tab 7.0 Plus, and although they both have the same video frame rates and the same (HD) video quality, the Galaxy Tab E 8.0 also has a back-facing camera with a lot higher resolution.
