Galaxy Tab 7.0 Plus has an overall score of 60.8, which is a bit better than the Sony Tablet S's general score of 57.5. These tablets come with Android OS (operating system), but Galaxy Tab 7.0 Plus has newer 4.1.2 version while Sony Tablet S has Android 4.0 version. Even when the Galaxy Tab 7.0 Plus and Sony Tablet S were released only 5 months apart, the Galaxy Tab 7.0 Plus is just a little thinner and notably lighter.

Samsung Galaxy Tab 7.0 Plus counts with a little more vivid screen than Sony Tablet S, because although it has a way worse resolution of 600 x 1024 pixels and a lot smaller display, it also counts with a quite higher pixel count per inch of display. The Galaxy Tab 7.0 Plus has a bit better CPU than Sony Tablet S. Both of them have 2 cpu cores and a 1 GB RAM.

Samsung Galaxy Tab 7.0 Plus has just a bit more memory capacity for games and applications than Sony Tablet S, and although they both have equal internal storage, the Samsung Galaxy Tab 7.0 Plus also has a SD card slot that supports a maximum of 64 GB.
