The Samsung Galaxy Note 8.0 is just a bit better than Galaxy Tab 7.7, with a general score of 67.1 against 61.9. The Samsung Galaxy Note 8.0 is a a little heavier portable tablet than Galaxy Tab 7.7, but both are 0.31inches thick. Both of these tablets work with Android OS (Operating System), but the Samsung Galaxy Note 8.0 has a newer 4.4.2 version while Galaxy Tab 7.7 has Android 4.0.4, providing some additional features.

Galaxy Tab 7.7 has a little bit better looking display than Galaxy Note 8.0, because although it has a quite smaller screen, and they both have the same resolution of 800 x 1280, the Galaxy Tab 7.7 also counts with a just a bit greater display density. The Samsung Galaxy Note 8.0 counts with a greater performance than Galaxy Tab 7.7, because it has a better graphics processing unit running at 1064 megahertz, 2 more cores and 1 GB more RAM memory.

Galaxy Note 8.0 takes way better pictures and videos than Samsung Galaxy Tab 7.7, and although they both have the same video frame rate and the same (HD) video definition, the Galaxy Note 8.0 also has a lot better resolution camera in the back. Samsung Galaxy Note 8.0 features a bit bigger storage for apps and games than Samsung Galaxy Tab 7.7, and although they both have exactly the same 16 GB internal memory, the Samsung Galaxy Note 8.0 also has a SD memory card expansion slot that admits a maximum of 64 GB.

Galaxy Tab 7.7 has just a little better battery life than Samsung Galaxy Note 8.0, because it has 5100mAh of battery capacity.

The Galaxy Note 8.0 not only is the best tablets between the ones we are comparing, but it's also by far the cheapest.
