Comparison review

Galaxy Tab 7.7 has a general score of 64.8, which is much better than Acer Predator 8's general score of 57.7. Both devices in this comparison work with Android OS (operating system), but Galaxy Tab 7.7 has older 4.0.4 version while Acer Predator 8 has Android 5.1 Lollipop version. Even though the Galaxy Tab 7.7 is noticeably older than the Acer Predator 8, it's body is a little bit thinner and a bit lighter.

Acer Predator 8 counts with a bit better hardware performance than Galaxy Tab 7.7, because although it has doesn't have an additional GPU, it also counts with a higher amount of RAM memory and a greater number of faster cores. Galaxy Tab 7.7 features a bit more vivid display than Acer Predator 8, although it has a much lower 800 x 1280 pixels resolution, way less pixels per screen inch and a quite smaller screen.

The Galaxy Tab 7.7 counts with a quite bigger memory to store more games and applications than Acer Predator 8, because although it has an external memory slot that holds a maximum of 32 GB against 128 GB, it also counts with 64 GB internal memory. Samsung Galaxy Tab 7.7 has just a little better battery lifetime than Acer Predator 8, because it has 5100mAh of battery capacity.

Acer Predator 8 shoots slightly better videos and photos than Samsung Galaxy Tab 7.7, because it has a much better resolution camera.

Although Samsung Galaxy Tab 7.7 is a better device, it costs a lot more than Acer Predator 8, and it doesn't have such a good relation between it's price and quality as Acer Predator 8. So if you need that extra features and specs, you can buy Samsung Galaxy Tab 7.7, otherwise you can save a couple dollars and get the Acer Predator 8, letting go some specifications.
