Comparison review

Galaxy Tab 7.7 is much better than Amazon Fire HD 8 (2020), having a score of 64.8 against 58.6. Both devices in this comparison work with Android operating system, but the Galaxy Tab 7.7 has the older 4.0.4 version while Amazon Fire HD 8 (2020) has Android 9.0 Pie. Galaxy Tab 7.7's design is thinner and just a little bit lighter than Amazon Fire HD 8 (2020), despite of the fact that it was released 9 years before.

Galaxy Tab 7.7 counts with a much better screen than Amazon Fire HD 8 (2020), because although it has a little smaller screen, and they both have an equal resolution of 800 x 1280, the Galaxy Tab 7.7 also counts with a little bit better number of pixels per inch in the screen. The Amazon Fire HD 8 (2020) has a superior storage to install applications and games than Galaxy Tab 7.7, because although it has only 32 GB internal storage capacity, it also counts with a SD extension slot that allows up to 1000 GB.

The Amazon Fire HD 8 (2020) has a bit better processing unit than Samsung Galaxy Tab 7.7, because although it has doesn't have an additional GPU, it also counts with 2 more cpu cores and 1 GB more RAM memory. Galaxy Tab 7.7 counts with a really longer battery performance than Amazon Fire HD 8 (2020).

The Galaxy Tab 7.7 shoots a little bit better photographs and videos than Amazon Fire HD 8 (2020), and although they both have the same video frame rates and the same 1280x720 (HD) video definition, the Galaxy Tab 7.7 also has a back-facing camera with a lot better resolution.

Although Galaxy Tab 7.7 is a better device, it costs a lot more than Amazon Fire HD 8 (2020), and it doesn't have such a good quality/price relation as Amazon Fire HD 8 (2020). So if you want that extra features and specs, you can buy the Galaxy Tab 7.7, else you can save some money and get the Amazon Fire HD 8 (2020), letting go some features and specifications.
