Galaxy Tab 7.7 is much better than Amazon Fire HD 8 (2020), having a score of 64.8 against 58.6. Both devices in this comparison work with Android operating system, but the Galaxy Tab 7.7 has the older 4.0.4 version while Amazon Fire HD 8 (2020) has Android 9.0 Pie. Galaxy Tab 7.7 counts with a really longer battery performance than Amazon Fire HD 8 (2020).
The Galaxy Tab 7.7 shoots a little bit better photographs and videos than Amazon Fire HD 8 (2020), and although they both have the same video frame rates and the same 1280x720 (HD) video definition, the Galaxy Tab 7.7 also has a back-facing camera with a lot better resolution.
Although Galaxy Tab 7.7 is a better device, it costs a lot more than Amazon Fire HD 8 (2020), and it doesn't have such a good quality/price relation as Amazon Fire HD 8 (2020). So if you want that extra features and specs, you can buy the Galaxy Tab 7.7, else you can save some money and get the Amazon Fire HD 8 (2020), letting go some features and specifications.
