Amazon Kindle Fire HDX 8.9 has a general score of 68.5, which is a bit better than the Galaxy Tab 7.7's 64.8 overall score. These devices have Android OS (Operating System), but Amazon Kindle Fire HDX 8.9 has the newer 4.2.2 version and Galaxy Tab 7.7 has Android 4.0.4 version. Amazon Kindle Fire HDX 8.9's body has the same thickness than the Galaxy Tab 7.7, but it is somewhat heavier.
