The Samsung Galaxy Tab 7.7 is slightly better than the Huawei MediaPad T1 8.0, having a 64.8 score against 60.4. Both tablets we compare here use Android OS (operating system), but the Samsung Galaxy Tab 7.7 has older 4.0.4 version while Huawei MediaPad T1 8.0 has Android 4.3. The Samsung Galaxy Tab 7.7 body has the same thickness than Huawei MediaPad T1 8.0, but it's a little bit lighter.
Huawei MediaPad T1 8.0 features a display that is very similar to the display in Samsung Galaxy Tab 7.7, because although the Huawei MediaPad T1 8.0 has a just a bit lower pixel density, and they both have exactly the same resolution of 1280 x 800, it also counts with a bit bigger screen. Huawei MediaPad T1 8.0 features a little better processing power than Samsung Galaxy Tab 7.7, and although they both have the same RAM amount, the Huawei MediaPad T1 8.0 also has a much better graphics processing unit and a greater number of cores.
The Huawei MediaPad T1 8.0 takes better pictures and videos than Galaxy Tab 7.7, and although they both have the same 1280x720 (HD) video resolution and the same video frame rate, the Huawei MediaPad T1 8.0 also has a lot more MP camera. The Galaxy Tab 7.7 counts with a superior storage capacity for apps and games than Huawei MediaPad T1 8.0, and although they both have a slot for SD memory cards that holds a maximum of 32 GB, the Galaxy Tab 7.7 also has 64 GB internal memory.
Galaxy Tab 7.7 has just a bit longer battery performance than Huawei MediaPad T1 8.0, because it has a 5100mAh battery capacity.
Although Samsung Galaxy Tab 7.7 is a better device, it costs a lot more money than the Huawei MediaPad T1 8.0, and it doesn't have such a good relation between it's price and quality as the Huawei MediaPad T1 8.0. So if you need that extra specs, you can buy the Samsung Galaxy Tab 7.7, otherwise you can save some money and buy the Huawei MediaPad T1 8.0, resigning some specs and features.
