Samsung Galaxy Tab 7.7 has a general score of 64.8, which is just a bit better than the Microsoft Surface 2's general score of 63.4. The Samsung Galaxy Tab 7.7 works with Android 4.0.4 operating system, and Microsoft Surface 2 has Windows RT 8.1 operating system. Despite of the fact that Samsung Galaxy Tab 7.7 is older than Microsoft Surface 2, it's construction is somewhat thinner and a lot lighter.
The Galaxy Tab 7.7 counts with a little sharper display than Microsoft Surface 2, although it has a just a little inferior number of pixels per inch of display, a lot smaller screen and a much lower 800 x 1280px resolution. Galaxy Tab 7.7 features a greater storage capacity for games and applications than Microsoft Surface 2. Both of them have the same internal memory capacity.
Microsoft Surface 2 counts with a bit superior processor than Galaxy Tab 7.7, because although it has doesn't have a GPU, it also counts with a larger number of faster cores and more RAM memory. The Samsung Galaxy Tab 7.7 counts with a way better battery duration than Microsoft Surface 2. The Microsoft Surface 2 features just a bit better camera than Galaxy Tab 7.7, because it has a way better 5 megapixels resolution back-facing camera and a lot higher 1920x1080 (Full HD) video definition.
The Samsung Galaxy Tab 7.7 is a bit more expensive than Microsoft Surface 2, but it's still a great choice, because you can get a better tablet for that extra money.
