Comparison review

Galaxy Tab 7.7 is just a bit better than Microsoft Surface Pro, getting a overall score of 64.8 against 63.2. The Galaxy Tab 7.7 counts with Android 4.0.4 OS, and Microsoft Surface Pro comes with Windows 8 Pro OS. The Galaxy Tab 7.7 is an older tablet device than the Microsoft Surface Pro, but it's notably thinner and a lot lighter anyway.

Microsoft Surface Pro has just a little better hardware performance than Galaxy Tab 7.7, and although they both have a Dual-Core processor, the Microsoft Surface Pro also has a larger amount of RAM memory and a much better graphics processor running at 650 MHz. Galaxy Tab 7.7 features a slightly better looking screen than Microsoft Surface Pro, although it has a just a little worse pixels count per inch in the screen, a lot smaller screen and a lot lower resolution of 800 x 1280px.

The Galaxy Tab 7.7 captures better videos and photos than Microsoft Surface Pro, and although they both have the same 1280x720 (HD) video definition and the same video frame rate, the Galaxy Tab 7.7 also has a camera in the back with a much higher 3 mega-pixels resolution. Microsoft Surface Pro has a bigger memory to install games and applications than Samsung Galaxy Tab 7.7, because although it has no slot for an external memory card, it also counts with 128 GB internal storage capacity.

The Galaxy Tab 7.7 features a superior battery performance than Microsoft Surface Pro.

Although Galaxy Tab 7.7 is a better device, it is more expensive than Microsoft Surface Pro, and it doesn't have such a good price and quality relation as Microsoft Surface Pro. If you want to save some money, you can get Microsoft Surface Pro, letting go a couple features, but you will get the most out of your savings.
