Comparison review
Microsoft Surface Pro 2 is a bit better than Samsung Galaxy Tab 7.7, getting a global score of 65.1 against 64.8. Microsoft Surface Pro 2 has Windows 8.1 Pro OS, while Samsung Galaxy Tab 7.7 has Android 4.0.4 OS. The Microsoft Surface Pro 2 body is newer, but a lot heavier and noticeably thicker than Samsung Galaxy Tab 7.7.
Microsoft Surface Pro 2 has a bit faster processor than Samsung Galaxy Tab 7.7, because although it has doesn't have an additional GPU, and they both have the same number of cores, the Microsoft Surface Pro 2 also counts with a larger amount of RAM. Galaxy Tab 7.7 counts with a bit more vivid display than Microsoft Surface Pro 2, although it has a much lower resolution of 800 x 1280, a bit lower screen pixels density and a way smaller display.
The Microsoft Surface Pro 2 features a very superior memory capacity for games and applications than Galaxy Tab 7.7, because although it has no SD card slot, it also counts with 512 GB internal storage. The Galaxy Tab 7.7 features a very superior battery lifetime than Microsoft Surface Pro 2. Galaxy Tab 7.7 has a much better camera than Microsoft Surface Pro 2. Both of them have the same video frame rate and the same (HD) video resolution.
The Microsoft Surface Pro 2 is not only the best tablets between the ones we are comparing, but it's also very cheap compared to the other tablets.
