The Samsung Galaxy Tab 7.7 has an overall score of 64.8, which is much better than Galaxy Tab 10.1's overall score of 58.1. These tablets come with the same Android 4.0.4 OS (Operating System). Although Samsung Galaxy Tab 7.7 and Galaxy Tab 10.1 were released with only a couple months difference, Samsung Galaxy Tab 7.7 is a little thinner and incredibly lighter.

Galaxy Tab 7.7 features a bit better performance than Galaxy Tab 10.1, and although they both have a Dual-Core CPU, the Galaxy Tab 7.7 also has an additional graphics processor. The Galaxy Tab 7.7 has a slightly better looking screen than Galaxy Tab 10.1, because although it has a really smaller screen, and they both have the same resolution of 800 x 1280 pixels, the Galaxy Tab 7.7 also counts with a better pixels count per display inch.

The Samsung Galaxy Tab 10.1 captures much better pictures and videos than Samsung Galaxy Tab 7.7, and although they both have a same resolution back camera, the Samsung Galaxy Tab 10.1 also has a lot higher (Full HD) video resolution. The Galaxy Tab 7.7 features a much better memory capacity for applications, games, photos and videos than Galaxy Tab 10.1, because it has 64 GB internal memory capacity and a SD memory card expansion slot that allows a maximum of 32 GB.

Galaxy Tab 10.1 counts with improved battery performance than Galaxy Tab 7.7, because it has 6800mAh of battery capacity against 5100mAh.

The Galaxy Tab 7.7 costs a lot more money than Galaxy Tab 10.1, but you can get a better tablet for that extra money.
