Galaxy Tab A 10.1 (2016) is just a bit better than Galaxy Tab 7.7, having a 70.2 score against 64.8. The Galaxy Tab A 10.1 (2016) design is way newer, but extremely heavier and just a bit thicker than Galaxy Tab 7.7. These tablets work with Android OS, but the Galaxy Tab A 10.1 (2016) has newer 8.1 Oreo version and Galaxy Tab 7.7 has Android 4.0.4, so it provides you a couple additional features and better performance.

Galaxy Tab A 10.1 (2016) counts with a little better hardware performance than Galaxy Tab 7.7, because although it has doesn't have a GPU, it also counts with a larger amount of RAM and a higher number of cores (and also faster). The Samsung Galaxy Tab 7.7 features a little bit better looking display than Galaxy Tab A 10.1 (2016), although it has a much smaller screen, a just a bit lower display density and a much lower 800 x 1280 resolution.
