The Galaxy Tab 7.7 has a general score of 64.8, which is a little bit better than Galaxy Tab A8's 62.6 overall score. Both devices in this comparison review work with Android OS (Operating System), but Galaxy Tab 7.7 has the newer 4.0.4 version while Galaxy Tab A8 has Android 11. Galaxy Tab 7.7's design is much lighter than Galaxy Tab A8, although it's thicker and was released 11 years before.

The Galaxy Tab 7.7 features a sharper display than Samsung Galaxy Tab A8, although it has a quite worse screen density, a much smaller display and a way lower resolution of 800 x 1280 pixels.
