Galaxy Tab S7 is a noticeably newer and thinner portable tablet than the Galaxy Tab 7.7, although it is also noticeably heavier. Both of these tablets have Android operating system, but Galaxy Tab S7 has older 11 version and Galaxy Tab 7.7 has Android 4.0.4.
