The Samsung Galaxy Tab 7.7 has a global score of 64.8, which is much better than Sony Tablet S's 57.5 general score. Both of these tablets work with Android operating system, but the Samsung Galaxy Tab 7.7 has newer 4.0.4 version while Sony Tablet S has Android 4.0. Although the Samsung Galaxy Tab 7.7 and Sony Tablet S were released with only 4 months difference, the Samsung Galaxy Tab 7.7 is a lot lighter and incredibly thinner.

The Galaxy Tab 7.7 has a bit better processing power than Sony Tablet S, and although they both have the same number of cores and a 1 GB RAM, the Galaxy Tab 7.7 also has an additional GPU.
