Comparison review

The Galaxy Tab 7.7 is much better than Sony Xperia Tablet S, having a 64.8 score against 58.9. These tablets work with Android operating system, but Galaxy Tab 7.7 has an older 4.0.4 version while Sony Xperia Tablet S has Android 4.1.1. The Galaxy Tab 7.7 is an older portable tablet than the Sony Xperia Tablet S, but Samsung managed to build it way thinner and way lighter.

Samsung Galaxy Tab 7.7 has a better display than Sony Xperia Tablet S, because although it has a quite smaller display, and they both have the same exact 800 x 1280px resolution, the Samsung Galaxy Tab 7.7 also counts with a little bit more pixels per display inch. The Xperia Tablet S features a little faster processor than Galaxy Tab 7.7, and although they both have 1 GB of RAM, the Xperia Tablet S also has a much better 416 MHz graphics processor and more CPU cores (although they are slower).

The Xperia Tablet S has a bigger storage capacity for applications and games than Galaxy Tab 7.7, and although they both have the same 64 GB internal memory capacity, the Xperia Tablet S also has a slot for an SD memory card that supports up to 128 GB. The Sony Xperia Tablet S features a slightly better camera than Galaxy Tab 7.7, because it has a way more mega-pixels back-facing camera.

Galaxy Tab 7.7 features a much better battery duration than Xperia Tablet S.

Although Samsung Galaxy Tab 7.7 is a better device, it is a lot more expensive than Xperia Tablet S, and it doesn't have such a good quality/price relation as the Xperia Tablet S. So if you need that extra specs, you can buy the Samsung Galaxy Tab 7.7, else you can save some dollars and get the Xperia Tablet S, resigning a couple specifications.
