The Galaxy Tab 7.7 LTE is slightly better than the Amazon Kindle Fire HDX 7, getting a overall score of 63.5 against 60.8. The Galaxy Tab 7.7 LTE is a just a little bit heavier but thinner tablet device than the Amazon Kindle Fire HDX 7. Both tablets we are comparing here work with Android OS, but Galaxy Tab 7.7 LTE has older 4.0 version and Amazon Kindle Fire HDX 7 has Android 4.2.2.

Amazon Kindle Fire HDX 7 has a quite superior hardware performance than Galaxy Tab 7.7 LTE, because it has a larger amount of RAM, a greater number of faster cores and a faster graphics co-processor running at 450 megahertz. Amazon Kindle Fire HDX 7 has a much sharper display than Galaxy Tab 7.7 LTE, because although it has a quite smaller screen, it also counts with much more pixels per inch in the display and a much higher resolution of 1200 x 1920.
