Despite being the best tablet in this comparison review, Samsung Galaxy Tab 7.7 LTE's body is incredibly heavier and thicker than iPod Touch 5th Generation.
The iPod Touch 5th Generation features a better screen than Galaxy Tab 7.7 LTE, because although it has a little bit worse resolution of 1136 x 640 pixels and a really smaller display, it also counts with a way greater pixels density. The iPod Touch 5th Generation has much more storage capacity to install applications and games than Galaxy Tab 7.7 LTE, because although it has no external memory card slot, it also counts with more internal memory.
Galaxy Tab 7.7 LTE has just a little better processing power than iPod Touch 5th Generation, because although it has a weaker 320 MHz graphics processor, and they both have a Dual-Core processor, the Galaxy Tab 7.7 LTE also counts with more RAM. The Apple iPod Touch 5th Generation takes way better photos and videos than Galaxy Tab 7.7 LTE, because it has a much better resolution back camera and a much better 1920x1080 (Full HD) video resolution.
Galaxy Tab 7.7 LTE has a much better battery lifetime than Apple iPod Touch 5th Generation, because it has 5100mAh of battery capacity instead of 1030mAh.
Although Galaxy Tab 7.7 LTE is a better device, it is more expensive than the Apple iPod Touch 5th Generation, and it doesn't have such a good relation between it's price and quality as the Apple iPod Touch 5th Generation. So if you want that extra specs, you can buy the Galaxy Tab 7.7 LTE, otherwise you can save some dollars and buy the Apple iPod Touch 5th Generation, giving up some features and specs.
