The Huawei MediaPad M5 lite has a global score of 73.3, which is much better than the Galaxy Tab 7.7 LTE's 63.5 score. Both tablets in our current comparison work with Android operating system, but the Huawei MediaPad M5 lite has a more recent 8.0 Oreo version while Galaxy Tab 7.7 LTE has Android 4.0 version, so it provides a lot of extra features and performance enhancements. Huawei MediaPad M5 lite's body is much heavier but just a bit thinner than the Galaxy Tab 7.7 LTE.
The Huawei MediaPad M5 lite features a greater processing power than Galaxy Tab 7.7 LTE, because although it has doesn't have an additional graphics processing unit, it also counts with a higher amount of RAM memory and a higher number of cores (and they are faster). Galaxy Tab 7.7 LTE has a little bit better looking display than Huawei MediaPad M5 lite, although it has a little lower quantity of pixels per inch in the display, a much smaller display and a lot worse 800 x 1280 resolution.
Huawei MediaPad M5 lite has much more memory for apps and games than Samsung Galaxy Tab 7.7 LTE, because it has an external SD slot that holds a maximum of 256 GB and 64 GB internal storage. The Huawei MediaPad M5 lite has a way better battery performance than Samsung Galaxy Tab 7.7 LTE, because it has 7500mAh of battery capacity against 5100mAh.
