Both tablets in this review use Android OS (Operating System), but Huawei MediaPad X2 has newer 5.0 version while Samsung Galaxy Tab 7.7 LTE has Android 4.0. The Huawei MediaPad X2 is a a bit thinner and lighter tablet than the Samsung Galaxy Tab 7.7 LTE.
Huawei MediaPad X2 has a much sharper screen than Galaxy Tab 7.7 LTE, because although it has a quite smaller screen, it also counts with a lot better 1920 x 1200 resolution and a much greater pixel density. The Huawei MediaPad X2 has a way bigger memory capacity to store more apps and games than Galaxy Tab 7.7 LTE, because it has a slot for an external memory card that supports a maximum of 128 GB and more internal memory capacity.
Huawei MediaPad X2 features a superior performance than Galaxy Tab 7.7 LTE, because although it has doesn't have an extra graphics processing unit, it also counts with a 64 bits processing unit, a greater amount of RAM memory and a higher number of cores. The Huawei MediaPad X2 shoots much better pictures and videos than Galaxy Tab 7.7 LTE, because it has a lot better video definition and a much more mega-pixels camera.
Galaxy Tab 7.7 LTE has a bit better battery lifetime than Huawei MediaPad X2, because it has a 5100mAh battery capacity.
