Comparison review

The Galaxy Tab 7.7 LTE is slightly better than LG G Pad 8.0, getting a 63.5 score against 58.6. Galaxy Tab 7.7 LTE is a just a little bit lighter and noticeably thinner portable tablet than LG G Pad 8.0. Both tablets in this review use Android OS, but Galaxy Tab 7.7 LTE has 4.0 version while LG G Pad 8.0 has Android 5.0.

The LG G Pad 8.0 has a little bit better performance than Galaxy Tab 7.7 LTE, and although they both have a 1 GB RAM, the LG G Pad 8.0 also has more CPU cores (although slower) and a faster 450 megahertz graphics processing unit. The Samsung Galaxy Tab 7.7 LTE and the LG G Pad 8.0 count with incredibly similar displays, because although the LG G Pad 8.0 has a quite lower pixel number in each inch of screen, and they both have exactly the same 1280 x 800 resolution, it also counts with a quite larger screen.

The LG G Pad 8.0 features a bit bigger storage to install applications and games or saving photos and videos than Galaxy Tab 7.7 LTE, and although they both have equal 16 GB internal memory, the LG G Pad 8.0 also has an external SD slot that allows a maximum of 64 GB. The LG G Pad 8.0 takes just a bit better photographs and videos than Galaxy Tab 7.7 LTE, because it has a much higher 1920x1080 video definition and a much higher resolution camera in the back.

Galaxy Tab 7.7 LTE features longer battery duration than LG G Pad 8.0, because it has a 5100mAh battery capacity.

Although Samsung Galaxy Tab 7.7 LTE is a better device, it costs a lot more than LG G Pad 8.0, and it doesn't have such a good quality/price relation as LG G Pad 8.0. If you want to save some money, you can buy the LG G Pad 8.0, giving up a few features and specs, but you'll get the most out of your budget.
