Samsung Galaxy Tab 7.7 LTE is a little bit better than the Galaxy Tab 8.9, getting a overall score of 63.5 against 58.1. These tablets use Android operating system, but the Samsung Galaxy Tab 7.7 LTE has 4.0 version while Galaxy Tab 8.9 has Android 3.0, so it provides you a lot of extra features and improved performance. Samsung Galaxy Tab 7.7 LTE is a just a bit thinner and incredibly lighter tablet than Galaxy Tab 8.9.
Galaxy Tab 7.7 LTE counts with a little sharper screen than Galaxy Tab 8.9, because although it has a quite smaller screen, and they both have an equal resolution of 800 x 1280 pixels, the Galaxy Tab 7.7 LTE also counts with a quite better pixels count in each screen inch. Galaxy Tab 8.9 features much more memory capacity to store more games and applications than Samsung Galaxy Tab 7.7 LTE, because although it has no SD card slot, it also counts with 48 GB more internal memory capacity.
The Galaxy Tab 7.7 LTE features a bit more powerful processor than Galaxy Tab 8.9, and although they both have a Dual-Core processing unit, the Galaxy Tab 7.7 LTE also has a graphics processor. The Galaxy Tab 7.7 LTE takes slightly better photographs and videos than Galaxy Tab 8.9, and although they both have the same video frame rate and the same 1280x720 (HD) video resolution, the Galaxy Tab 7.7 LTE also has a more mega-pixels camera in the back.
The Galaxy Tab 8.9 features just a little bit longer battery duration than Galaxy Tab 7.7 LTE, because it has an 18 percent larger battery size.
The Samsung Galaxy Tab 7.7 LTE is more expensive than Samsung Galaxy Tab 8.9, but you can get a better tablet for that few more dollars.
