Samsung Galaxy Tab A 8.0 (2018) has an overall score of 68.3, which is slightly better than the Samsung Galaxy Tab 7.7 LTE's global score of 63.5. Both of these tablets use Android operating system, but the Samsung Galaxy Tab A 8.0 (2018) has the newer 8.1 Oreo version and Samsung Galaxy Tab 7.7 LTE has Android 4.0 version, so it offers some nice extra features and performance tweaks. Although it's the best in our current comparison, Samsung Galaxy Tab A 8.0 (2018) is a thicker and just a little bit heavier tablet than Samsung Galaxy Tab 7.7 LTE.

The Galaxy Tab 7.7 LTE features a sharper screen than Galaxy Tab A 8.0 (2018), because although it has a quite smaller display, and they both have the same resolution of 800 x 1280px, the Galaxy Tab 7.7 LTE also counts with a just a bit better display pixels density. Galaxy Tab A 8.0 (2018) has a much bigger storage capacity to install games and applications than Samsung Galaxy Tab 7.7 LTE, because it has a slot for SD memory cards that holds a maximum of 400 GB and 16 GB more internal memory capacity.

The Galaxy Tab A 8.0 (2018) counts with a little bit better performance than Galaxy Tab 7.7 LTE, because although it has doesn't have an additional graphics processor, it also counts with a larger number of 1.4 gigahertz cores and a higher amount of RAM. The Samsung Galaxy Tab A 8.0 (2018) counts with a much better camera than Galaxy Tab 7.7 LTE, because it has a much better (Full HD) video resolution and a much better 5 mega-pixels resolution back camera.

Galaxy Tab 7.7 LTE has just a little bit longer battery lifetime than Galaxy Tab A 8.0 (2018), because it has 5100mAh of battery capacity.

Even being the best tablet between the ones we are comparing here, Samsung Galaxy Tab A 8.0 (2018) is also very cheap compared to the other ones.
