The Amazon Fire HD 8 Plus (2020) has a score of 59.7, which is just a bit better than Samsung Galaxy Tab 8.9 LTE's 58.8 global score. Even though Amazon Fire HD 8 Plus (2020) is thicker than Samsung Galaxy Tab 8.9 LTE, it's extremely lighter and also notably newer. Both devices in our current comparison work with Android OS (Operating System), but Amazon Fire HD 8 Plus (2020) has newer 9.0 Pie version and Samsung Galaxy Tab 8.9 LTE has Android 4.0.
