Amazon Fire HDX 8.9 has a general score of 67.9, which is better than Samsung Galaxy Tab 8.9 LTE's 58.8 global score. These tablets include Android OS, but the Amazon Fire HDX 8.9 has a more recent 4.4 version and Samsung Galaxy Tab 8.9 LTE has Android 4.0. The Amazon Fire HDX 8.9 body is way newer, somewhat lighter and somewhat thinner than Samsung Galaxy Tab 8.9 LTE.
