The LG G Pad 8.3 has a general score of 65.9, which is much better than Samsung Galaxy Tab 8.9 LTE's score of 58.8. Both tablets in this review come with Android OS, but LG G Pad 8.3 has a more recent 4.4 version and Samsung Galaxy Tab 8.9 LTE has Android 4.0 version, so it gives some nice extra features. LG G Pad 8.3's body is extremely newer, just a bit thinner and extremely lighter than Samsung Galaxy Tab 8.9 LTE.
The LG G Pad 8.3 has a little bit better processing power than Samsung Galaxy Tab 8.9 LTE, because it has 2 more CPU cores. The LG G Pad 8.3 features a brighter screen than Galaxy Tab 8.9 LTE, because although it has a little bit smaller display, it also counts with a lot more pixels per inch of screen and a much higher resolution of 1200 x 1920 pixels.
The LG G Pad 8.3 takes much clearer photos and videos than Galaxy Tab 8.9 LTE, because it has a much higher 5 mega pixels resolution camera in the back and a way better video resolution. LG G Pad 8.3 counts with a lot bigger storage capacity for games and applications than Galaxy Tab 8.9 LTE, and although they both have equal internal memory, the LG G Pad 8.3 also has a SD memory card expansion slot that admits up to 64 GB.
Samsung Galaxy Tab 8.9 LTE features better battery life than LG G Pad 8.3, because it has a 33 percent bigger battery capacity.
