Samsung Galaxy Tab 8.9 LTE is just a bit better than the LG G Pad II 8.0, having a 58.8 score against 58.3. Both tablets in this comparison review include Android OS (operating system), but Samsung Galaxy Tab 8.9 LTE has the previous 4.0 version and LG G Pad II 8.0 has Android 5.0 Lollipop. The Samsung Galaxy Tab 8.9 LTE is a notably older and notably heavier tablet than the LG G Pad II 8.0, but Samsung was able to build it just a bit thinner anyway.

LG G Pad II 8.0 counts with just a bit better performance than Galaxy Tab 8.9 LTE, because it has 2 more cores.
