The LG G Pad X 10.1 is much better than the Samsung Galaxy Tab 8.9 LTE, having a global score of 67.4 against 58.8. These tablets come with Android operating system, but LG G Pad X 10.1 has the newer 5.1 Lollipop version while Samsung Galaxy Tab 8.9 LTE has Android 4.0. LG G Pad X 10.1's design is extremely newer and thinner than Samsung Galaxy Tab 8.9 LTE's, although it's a little bit heavier.

The LG G Pad X 10.1 counts with a quite better performance than Galaxy Tab 8.9 LTE, because it has a larger number of cores (and also faster). The Samsung Galaxy Tab 8.9 LTE has a little sharper screen than LG G Pad X 10.1, although it has a quite smaller screen, a lot worse resolution of 800 x 1280px and a quite worse count of pixels per inch in the screen.

The LG G Pad X 10.1 takes much better videos and photos than Galaxy Tab 8.9 LTE, because it has a camera with lot more megapixels and a way better 1920x1080 video definition. LG G Pad X 10.1 has a much better storage to store more apps and games than Samsung Galaxy Tab 8.9 LTE, because it has a slot for an SD memory card that admits a maximum of 1,95 TB and 32 GB internal memory capacity.

The LG G Pad X 10.1 has greater battery lifetime than Galaxy Tab 8.9 LTE, because it has 7400mAh of battery capacity against 6100mAh.
