LG G Pad X II 10.1 is much better than Samsung Galaxy Tab 8.9 LTE, with a 65.4 score against 58.8. Both of these devices work with Android OS (operating system), but LG G Pad X II 10.1 has a more recent 6.0 Marshmallow version and Samsung Galaxy Tab 8.9 LTE has Android 4.0 version, giving you some additional features and improved performance. LG G Pad X II 10.1's construction is newer and a little bit thinner, but also somewhat heavier than Samsung Galaxy Tab 8.9 LTE.

Galaxy Tab 8.9 LTE counts with a bit more vivid screen than LG G Pad X II 10.1, although it has a little smaller screen, a just a bit less pixels per inch in the display and a way lower 800 x 1280px resolution.
