Galaxy Note 10.1 has a general score of 66.3, which is better than Galaxy Tab 8.9 LTE's general score of 58.8. Despite being the best in this review, the Galaxy Note 10.1 is an extremely heavier and a little thicker tablet than the Galaxy Tab 8.9 LTE. These tablets have Android OS, but the Galaxy Note 10.1 has the newer 4.4 version while Galaxy Tab 8.9 LTE has Android 4.0, offering some additional features.
The Galaxy Tab 8.9 LTE counts with a bit better screen than Galaxy Note 10.1, because although it has a little bit smaller display, and they both have exactly the same resolution of 800 x 1280px, the Galaxy Tab 8.9 LTE also counts with a just a bit higher pixels count in each inch in the screen. Galaxy Note 10.1 counts with a bit better processing unit than Samsung Galaxy Tab 8.9 LTE, because it has 2 more CPU cores.
Galaxy Tab 8.9 LTE takes slightly better pictures and videos than Samsung Galaxy Note 10.1, although it has a lower 1280x720 video definition and a camera in the back with way less mega-pixels. Galaxy Note 10.1 features a much greater memory capacity for apps and games than Galaxy Tab 8.9 LTE, because it has more internal storage and an external memory slot that allows a maximum of 32 GB.
Galaxy Note 10.1 features just a bit longer battery lifetime than Samsung Galaxy Tab 8.9 LTE, because it has a 7000mAh battery capacity against 6100mAh.
