The Galaxy Note 10.1 LTE is a little bit better than Galaxy Tab 8.9 LTE, getting a overall score of 63 against 58.8. These devices use Android operating system, but Galaxy Note 10.1 LTE has 4.4.2 version and Galaxy Tab 8.9 LTE has Android 4.0, so it gives a couple additional features and performance improvements. The Galaxy Note 10.1 LTE is a newer tablet than the Galaxy Tab 8.9 LTE, but it is a bit thicker and a lot heavier.

Galaxy Tab 8.9 LTE counts with a bit better display than Galaxy Note 10.1 LTE, because although it has a little bit smaller screen, and they both have exactly the same 800 x 1280 resolution, the Galaxy Tab 8.9 LTE also counts with a little bit more pixels per display inch. The Galaxy Note 10.1 LTE counts with a much better storage for applications, games, photos and videos than Galaxy Tab 8.9 LTE, and although they both have exactly the same internal storage, the Galaxy Note 10.1 LTE also has a SD memory slot that admits a maximum of 64 GB.

Samsung Galaxy Note 10.1 LTE features a bit better performance than Galaxy Tab 8.9 LTE, because it has 2 more cpu cores. The Samsung Galaxy Note 10.1 LTE shoots just a bit better photographs and videos than Galaxy Tab 8.9 LTE, and although they both have the same video frame rates and the same video definition, the Samsung Galaxy Note 10.1 LTE also has a back-facing camera with lot more mega-pixels.

The Galaxy Tab 8.9 LTE features a superior battery lifetime than Galaxy Note 10.1 LTE.
