Samsung Galaxy Tab 8.9 LTE has an overall score of 58.8, which is a little bit better than Galaxy Tab 10.1's 58.1 overall score. Both tablets in this review come with Android OS, but Samsung Galaxy Tab 8.9 LTE has the older 4.0 version and Galaxy Tab 10.1 has Android 4.0.4 version. Samsung Galaxy Tab 8.9 LTE is a somewhat lighter tablet than the Galaxy Tab 10.1, but both of them are 0.34inches thick.
Galaxy Tab 8.9 LTE counts with a little bit better looking screen than Galaxy Tab 10.1, because although it has a little bit smaller display, and they both have an equal resolution of 800 x 1280 pixels, the Galaxy Tab 8.9 LTE also counts with a quite higher number of pixels per screen inch. Galaxy Tab 10.1 has a much bigger storage to install games and applications than Galaxy Tab 8.9 LTE, because it has 16 GB more internal storage.
Samsung Galaxy Tab 8.9 LTE features a bit faster processor than Galaxy Tab 10.1. Both of them have the same number of cores. The Galaxy Tab 10.1 has just a little better battery performance than Galaxy Tab 8.9 LTE, because it has an 11% more battery size. The Galaxy Tab 10.1 has a superior camera than Galaxy Tab 8.9 LTE, and although they both have a 3 megapixels resolution camera, the Galaxy Tab 10.1 also has a way better (Full HD) video definition.
