Galaxy Tab A 10.1 (2016) is better than the Samsung Galaxy Tab 8.9 LTE, having a score of 70.2 against 58.8. Even though the Galaxy Tab A 10.1 (2016) is heavier than Samsung Galaxy Tab 8.9 LTE, it's just a little thinner and way newer. Both of these tablets come with Android OS, but Galaxy Tab A 10.1 (2016) has the newer 8.1 Oreo version while Samsung Galaxy Tab 8.9 LTE has Android 4.0.

Samsung Galaxy Tab A 10.1 (2016) features a quite superior hardware performance than Galaxy Tab 8.9 LTE, because it has a higher number of faster cores.
