Galaxy Tab E has a general score of 60.7, which is just a bit better than the Galaxy Tab 8.9 LTE's 58.8 overall score. Both tablets we compare here come with Android operating system, but the Galaxy Tab E has 4.4 version while Galaxy Tab 8.9 LTE has Android 4.0 version. Galaxy Tab E is a noticeably newer and a bit thinner tablet device than the Galaxy Tab 8.9 LTE, but it is just a little heavier.

The Galaxy Tab E features a superior camera than Galaxy Tab 8.9 LTE, and although they both have the same 1280x720 (HD) video definition and the same video frame rate, the Galaxy Tab E also has a way more MP back-facing camera.

Galaxy Tab 8.9 LTE features improved battery life than Samsung Galaxy Tab E, because it has a 22% larger battery capacity.
