Comparison review
The Samsung Galaxy Tab 8.9 LTE is just a bit better than the Xiaomi pad 5, having a overall score of 58.8 against 57.7. Both tablets in this review come with Android OS, but Samsung Galaxy Tab 8.9 LTE has older 4.0 version and Xiaomi pad 5 has Android 12 version. Samsung Galaxy Tab 8.9 LTE is an extremely older and way thicker tablet than Xiaomi pad 5, but Samsung was able to build it somewhat lighter anyway.
Galaxy Tab 8.9 LTE has a bit more vivid display than Xiaomi pad 5, although it has a quite smaller display, a way worse 800 x 1280 resolution and a much lower pixels density. Galaxy Tab 8.9 LTE counts with a much powerful CPU than Xiaomi pad 5, although it has an inferior number of cores. Xiaomi pad 5 has a greater camera than Galaxy Tab 8.9 LTE, because it has a lot better resolution camera and a way higher 3840x2160 video quality.
Xiaomi pad 5 features a much greater storage for games and applications than Samsung Galaxy Tab 8.9 LTE, because it has more internal storage capacity. The Xiaomi pad 5 features a very superior battery duration than Samsung Galaxy Tab 8.9 LTE, because it has a 43 percent bigger battery capacity.
