Comparison review
Amazon Kindle Fire HDX 8.9 is much better than Galaxy Tab 8.9, with a 68.5 score against 58.1. These devices work with Android operating system, but Amazon Kindle Fire HDX 8.9 has the newer 4.2.2 version and Galaxy Tab 8.9 has Android 3.0. Amazon Kindle Fire HDX 8.9's body is extremely newer, somewhat lighter and just a little thinner than Galaxy Tab 8.9.
Amazon Kindle Fire HDX 8.9 has a lot better display than Galaxy Tab 8.9, and although they both have a display with the same size, the Amazon Kindle Fire HDX 8.9 also has a way better number of pixels per inch of display and a way higher resolution of 1600 x 2560. Amazon Kindle Fire HDX 8.9's memory capacity for games and applications is very similar to Galaxy Tab 8.9's one, both of them have exactly the same internal storage capacity.
Amazon Kindle Fire HDX 8.9 has an extremely better CPU than Samsung Galaxy Tab 8.9, because it has 2 more CPU cores and an additional graphics processing unit. Amazon Kindle Fire HDX 8.9 captures a lot better videos and photos than Galaxy Tab 8.9, because it has a back facing camera with lot more MP.
The Galaxy Tab 8.9 features a superior battery life than Amazon Kindle Fire HDX 8.9.
