Comparison review

Asus MeMO Pad 8 is just a bit better than Samsung Galaxy Tab 8.9, having a 61.2 score against 58.1. These devices include Android OS, but the Asus MeMO Pad 8 has newer 4.4 version while Samsung Galaxy Tab 8.9 has Android 3.0 version, so it gives some extra features. Asus MeMO Pad 8's construction is newer, notably lighter and somewhat thinner than the Samsung Galaxy Tab 8.9.

Asus MeMO Pad 8 counts with just a bit better looking screen than Galaxy Tab 8.9, because although it has a little bit smaller display, it also counts with a much higher resolution of 1920 x 1200 and much more pixels per screen inch. The Samsung Galaxy Tab 8.9 features a slightly bigger storage capacity for apps and games than Asus MeMO Pad 8, because although it has no slot for external memory cards, it also counts with 64 GB internal storage.

The Asus MeMO Pad 8 counts with a faster CPU than Samsung Galaxy Tab 8.9, because it has a larger number of cores. The Asus MeMO Pad 8 counts with a little bit better camera than Galaxy Tab 8.9, and although they both have the same (HD) video resolution and the same video frame rate, the Asus MeMO Pad 8 also has a way more mega-pixels back-facing camera.
