The Asus ZenPad S 8.0 has a score of 62.2, which is a bit better than Samsung Galaxy Tab 8.9's score of 58.1. Asus ZenPad S 8.0 is a a lot newer device, and it's also way lighter and noticeably thinner than Samsung Galaxy Tab 8.9. The Asus ZenPad S 8.0 has a bit more vivid display than Galaxy Tab 8.9, because although it has a quite smaller display, it also counts with a way greater screen pixel density and a lot higher resolution of 1536 x 2048.

Asus ZenPad S 8.0 has a much more powerful processing unit than Galaxy Tab 8.9, because it has a greater number of cores (and faster). The Asus ZenPad S 8.0 takes much clearer photos and videos than Samsung Galaxy Tab 8.9, because it has a camera with a lot higher resolution and a way higher 1920x1080 video quality.

The Asus ZenPad S 8.0 has a superior memory capacity to store more apps and games than Galaxy Tab 8.9, and although they both have equal internal memory, the Asus ZenPad S 8.0 also has a slot for an external memory card that supports up to 128 GB. Samsung Galaxy Tab 8.9 has a very superior battery life than Asus ZenPad S 8.0.
