Google Nexus 9 is much better than the Galaxy Tab 8.9, having a 74.5 score against 58.1. Both tablets in this comparison review include Android OS (Operating System), but Google Nexus 9 has a newer 5.0 version and Galaxy Tab 8.9 has Android 3.0. The Google Nexus 9 body is extremely newer, just a little bit lighter and a bit thinner than Galaxy Tab 8.9.

The Google Nexus 9 features a more vivid display than Galaxy Tab 8.9, and although they both have a display with the same size, the Google Nexus 9 also has a lot better 2048 x 1536px resolution and a lot more pixels per screen inch. The Samsung Galaxy Tab 8.9 counts with a lot bigger storage capacity to install applications and games or saving photos and videos than Google Nexus 9, because it has 64 GB internal memory.
