Huawei MediaPad T1 8.0 is a little bit better than the Samsung Galaxy Tab 8.9, with a global score of 60.4 against 58.1. The Huawei MediaPad T1 8.0 design is much lighter and a little thinner than the Samsung Galaxy Tab 8.9. Both of these tablets come with Android OS, but Huawei MediaPad T1 8.0 has a more recent 4.3 version while Samsung Galaxy Tab 8.9 has Android 3.0.
The Huawei MediaPad T1 8.0 counts with a superior processing power than Galaxy Tab 8.9, because it has an additional graphics processor and a larger number of cores. Huawei MediaPad T1 8.0 counts with a little more vivid display than Galaxy Tab 8.9, because although it has a little smaller display, and they both have the same 1280 x 800 pixels resolution, the Huawei MediaPad T1 8.0 also counts with a just a bit more pixels per screen inch.
The Galaxy Tab 8.9 features a much bigger memory capacity for games and applications than Huawei MediaPad T1 8.0, because although it has no external SD slot, it also counts with 64 GB internal storage capacity. The Galaxy Tab 8.9 counts with greater battery performance than Huawei MediaPad T1 8.0, because it has a 25 percent larger battery capacity.
The Huawei MediaPad T1 8.0 counts with a superior camera than Samsung Galaxy Tab 8.9, and although they both have the same (HD) video definition and the same video frame rate, the Huawei MediaPad T1 8.0 also has a much more MP back facing camera.
Even being the best tablet of the ones we are comparing here, Huawei MediaPad T1 8.0 is also cheap compared to the Samsung Galaxy Tab 8.9.
