LG G Pad II 8.0 has a score of 58.3, which is just a bit better than Samsung Galaxy Tab 8.9's 58.1 overall score. LG G Pad II 8.0's construction is extremely newer and notably lighter, but also just a little thicker than Samsung Galaxy Tab 8.9. Both of these tablets include Android OS, but LG G Pad II 8.0 has a more recent 5.0 Lollipop version and Samsung Galaxy Tab 8.9 has Android 3.0 version, so it counts with a couple additional features and improved performance.

The Galaxy Tab 8.9 counts with a sharper screen than LG G Pad II 8.0, because although it has a bit worse pixels density, and they both have an equal 800 x 1280 resolution, the Galaxy Tab 8.9 also counts with a quite bigger display. LG G Pad II 8.0 features a slightly bigger memory to install applications and games than Galaxy Tab 8.9, because although it has less internal storage, it also counts with an external SD slot that allows up to 128 GB.
