LG G Pad X II 10.1 is much better than Samsung Galaxy Tab 8.9, getting a 65.4 score against 58.1. Although the LG G Pad X II 10.1 is heavier than the Samsung Galaxy Tab 8.9, it's a little bit thinner and incredibly newer. Both tablets we compare here come with Android OS (Operating System), but the LG G Pad X II 10.1 has newer 6.0 Marshmallow version while Samsung Galaxy Tab 8.9 has Android 3.0, so it provides you a couple additional features.

The LG G Pad X II 10.1 has a better processing power than Galaxy Tab 8.9, because it has a larger number of cores (and faster). The Galaxy Tab 8.9 features a bit more vivid screen than LG G Pad X II 10.1, although it has a little inferior number of pixels per display inch, a lot lower 800 x 1280 resolution and a quite smaller screen.

LG G Pad X II 10.1 counts with a little bit better camera than Samsung Galaxy Tab 8.9, because it has a back camera with lot more mega pixels and a way higher video quality. LG G Pad X II 10.1 counts with a lot bigger memory capacity for apps and games than Samsung Galaxy Tab 8.9, because although it has only 16 GB internal memory, it also counts with a SD card slot that allows a maximum of 1,95 TB.

LG G Pad X II 10.1 features a battery lifetime that's very similar to the battery duration in Samsung Galaxy Tab 8.9.
