Comparison review
Microsoft Surface RT is just a bit better than the Galaxy Tab 8.9, having a global score of 58.4 against 58.1. The Microsoft Surface RT counts with Windows RT OS, while Galaxy Tab 8.9 comes with Android 3.0 OS. The Microsoft Surface RT construction is newer than the Galaxy Tab 8.9's, although it's noticeably heavier and a little bit thicker.
The Microsoft Surface RT counts with a superior CPU than Galaxy Tab 8.9, because it has an additional GPU and a greater number of cores (and also faster). The Galaxy Tab 8.9 features a bit more vivid screen than Microsoft Surface RT, because although it has a little bit smaller screen and a little bit lower resolution of 800 x 1280px, it also counts with a just a little better display density.
The Galaxy Tab 8.9 captures a lot better photos and videos than Microsoft Surface RT, and although they both have the same video frame rates and the same video quality, the Galaxy Tab 8.9 also has a back facing camera with much more mega-pixels. Microsoft Surface RT and Galaxy Tab 8.9 both have quite similar storage for games and applications, both of them have the same 64 GB internal memory capacity.
Samsung Galaxy Tab 8.9 counts with a really longer battery performance than Microsoft Surface RT.
