Samsung ATIV Tab 7 is better than Samsung Galaxy Tab 8.9, with a overall score of 64.9 against 58.1. The Samsung ATIV Tab 7 design is newer than Samsung Galaxy Tab 8.9's, although it's incredibly heavier and noticeably thicker. Samsung ATIV Tab 7 works with Windows 8 operating system, while Samsung Galaxy Tab 8.9 has Android 3.0 operating system.
The Samsung Galaxy Tab 8.9 has a slightly better screen than Samsung ATIV Tab 7, although it has a lot smaller display, a much lower resolution of 800 x 1280 and a bit worse screen density. The Galaxy Tab 8.9 has a superior processor than Samsung ATIV Tab 7, because although it has doesn't have an additional graphics co-processor, it also counts with a higher number of cores.
The Samsung ATIV Tab 7 has a little bit better camera than Galaxy Tab 8.9, because it has a lot more MP back camera. The Samsung ATIV Tab 7 counts with a much greater storage capacity for games and applications than Galaxy Tab 8.9, because it has more internal storage capacity.
